New York Hopes

On the eve of returning to the U.S. to look for a place in New York, I am using this post to record my hopes for this new adventure.

  1. The happiness of a new home.  A nice place, redecorating, new electronics.
  2. A new neighborhood to explore and make my own.
  3. To get to know the city much better.
  4. To connect with the area, and perhaps with the Tom and Tim gang in Washington, Connecticut.
  5. To have a new geographic center with better access to the Caribbean and France.
  6. To enjoy the cultural richness of NYC.
  7. To take up French classes.
  8. To use Meetup or other sites to find new activities.
  9. Visits from family and friends.
  10. Perhaps a new wardrobe and look.
