Western Asia, Turkey, Istanbul, 2009. A pair of cast brass figures of small naked children standing side by side and holding a large decorated ring between them, like a mirror or wreath. The smooth bald heads and stylised bodies give them a playful, timeless look.

The title refers to Gemini, the Twins of the zodiac, traditionally the brothers Castor and Pollux. Purchased in the Grand Bazaar, Istanbul.
