Starting in Istanbul, we flew to Cappadocia and then drove west through Konya and Pamukkale to Izmir and Bodrum.

Bonaire 1995
Judith and I took a diving vacation in Bonaire with Carolyn, who got her diving certification there.
Guatemala 1995
Judith and I took a driving trip around Guatemala in 1995. We toured Antigua, Lake Atitlán, Chichicastenango and Tikal.
Dordogne Walking Trip
Judith and I took a walking tour of the Dordogne. After a few days in Paris, the walk was Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Beynac, Domme, Gourdon, and then afterwards, Cahors, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and Rocamadour.
Borneo, Hong Kong and Singapore 1994

Philippines 1993
I escaped the turmoil of work and divorce with a solo trip to the Philippines. I took buses north from Manila past Angeles City and into the mountains. I flew to Cebu and went to a local beach resort to become a certified diver.
Cabo 1993
The date is far from exact, but about this time, I took Carolyn to Cabo to work out our problems. After separation from Patty I had been largely absent. Carolyn blamed me for the divorce. We spent a few days in Cabo fishing, swimming, and getting back together.
Costa Rica 1992
In December of 1992 I took a solo trip to Costa Rica. I saw San José, went up to the rainforests and went river rafting.
Spain, Portugal, Morocco 1991
Patty, Carolyn and I drove down the coast of Portugal from Porto through Lisbon and along the southern coast to Spain (Jerez) and finally across to Tangier, Morocco.
Hungary, Austria and Italy 1990
Patty, Carolyn, and I rented a little BMW and did a circle trip of Hungary, Austria, and eastern Italy. We visited Budapest, Vienna, Innsbruck and Venice.
