The summer of 2025 Judith and I became members of the L’Occitane Spa in Mane. Most weeks we went three times at 10:00 for several hours. I went to the gym first for stretching and the machines, then swam laps, went to the steam room and the sauna.

Starting in 2008 we hosted an annual poolside American Cheeseburger Party in late summer. The guests varied but generally included David and Wenner, Tom and Tim (always), Evelyn and Louie, Bernadette, Michele, Patrick and Micheal (if in town), Jurgen and Martha.

We were introduced to David soon after we bought our house in Mane. David quickly became a close friend. We met at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2008, traveled together to Berlin and Japan in 2011 and Uzbekistan in 2014.
We met Tom and Tim when we were first looking for a house in France. They helped us find our house. They supervised multiple remodeling projects. They visited us in Buenos Aires in 2013.
The trip had three parts. First we started in Paris, then Milan, and finally we rented a house in Tuscany with Sandy and Keith and Ed and Nadine.
