In June I took a solo trip to the Peloponnese. Judith was visiting New York to be with Nadine after Ed died. I rented a small Fiat and went to Nafplio, Mycenae, the Mani Peninsula, and the mountains.
Judith and I went to Angers to inspect the château for my birthday party and then went on to a week in Brittany.
In 2019 we returned to France via Milan and Switzerland. We attended Design Week for the first four days. In September 2018 I began intensive hour-long workouts with Lance Bacchus at our co-op’s gym. In March 2020 we paused the workouts for the pandemic.

We drove the Mini up over the Alps for our semi-annual Piedmont trip. We stayed first in Castello Rosso and then Castello di Guarene. We visited the frescoes at Castello della Manta. Finally we stocked up on wine in Barbaresco, La Morra and Roero.
Judith and I took an 11-day trip to Iceland. We flew into Reykjavík, rented a four-wheel-drive SUV and drove around the north and the Westfjords.
