Berlin 2025
Judith and I flew to Berlin to see Meryl Tankard’s production of Kontakthof – Echoes of ’78. It was wonderful.
Upstate New York Road Trip 2025
On March 19 I started a six day solo road trip in upstate New York. I went to Lake George, Cooperstown, Geneva, Ithaca, and Narrowsburg before returning to NYC.
St Croix 2025
Judith and I took a last-minute five-day vacation to St. Croix. We stayed at the Buccaneer and rented a car for two days to explore the island.
Japan Trip 2024
In June 2024 Judith and I took a 19-day trip to Japan. We met Carolyn and family in Tokyo at the start and again in Osaka at the end. We visited Nara, Naoshima (the Benesse art island) and Ritsurin Garden, among others.
Panama 2024
On January 5, 2024 Judith and I visited Panama for a second time. We went to Panama City and saw the Mola and Canal museums. We spent several days at Tranquilo Bay, Mount Totumas and Bocas del Mar. Dave and Diane joined us at Tranquilo Bay.
Poland 2023
Judith and I took a driving tour of Poland starting June 8, 2023. We visited Warsaw, the sand dunes on the Baltic, wooden churches in the south, Wrocław, Turówka, the Wieliczka salt mine and Kraków.
Alabama Road Trip 2023

David Died
After two years of increasingly severe illnesses, David died in hospital in Wuppertal. Susanna, Gantt and Christoph Muntersman were there. We were in Mane.
