The summer of 2025 Judith and I became members of the L’Occitane Spa in Mane. Most weeks we went three times at 10:00 for several hours. I went to the gym first for stretching and the machines, then swam laps, went to the steam room and the sauna.

Starting in 2008 we hosted an annual poolside American Cheeseburger Party in late summer. The guests varied but generally include David and Wenner, Tom and Tim (always) Evelyn and Louie, Bernadette, Michele, Patrick and Micheal (if in town), Jurgen and Martha.

We were introduced to David soon after we bought our house in Mane. David quickly became a close friend. We met in Art Basil in Miami in 2008, traveled together to Berlin and Japan in 2011 and Uzbekistan in 2014.
