Mexico 1977
Patty, Carolyn and I went to Mexico City and Cancun. Carolyn was a great hit in Cancun with a band serenading her under our window and all the young men making much of her.

Chevy Vega 1975
Patty and I bought a used Chevy Vega. I had the engine rebuilt and reinstalled by Paul Froboise who botched the job. The dates are uncertain

Kidney Stones
Around 1976 I began to have kidney stones. I would go to the emergency room for an overnight stay. For the next few years I had one or two a year. By 1984 they became less frequent. My last large one was in Japan 2006.

In 1973 Patty and I bought a 1965 Chevy with a large engine from an old black guy in Oakland.

Fiat 850 Spider with Lyndon Bittle
In 1970 Lyndon and I jointly bought a Fiat Spider 850 with the financial help of his father. Within the next two years everything on the car broke except the steering wheel.
