In January 2023 we went to Rio with Tom and Tim. We spent a week at the Copacabana Palace hotel and then went to Búzios, a beach town. Tim, Tom and I hang-glided over the city down to the beach. We spent a morning at Sítio Roberto Burle Marx, the landscape architect’s gardens.
On the way back to New York we took the train to Turin and then on to Venice. We went to the Biennale in Venice, then flew to Paris for three days.
Judith and I took a two-week driving trip around the Pyrenees. We drove to San Sebastián along the French side and returned along the Spanish side through Andorra.
