Took a summer driving trip to the Piedmont to avoid the Mane Fete. Went over the top of the Alps to St Veran, the highest village in France, then on to two days in Torin, and finally two wine days in La Morra. Filled the back of of Subaru with Borola and Barbaresco.

Alaska Fly Fishing 2017
In September went fly fishing at Rapids Creek Lodge near King Salmon Alaska with Dave Mining and Bob Lynch. Each day we would fly out to a new stream to fish. In the week caught rainbow trout (22 inches), many sockeye salmon (up to 20 lbs) silver salmon, char (24 inches) and greylings.
