When Carolyn was two, Patty and I took our second trip to Europe. In Paris we leased a Simca and in London a small Ford. We spend substantial time in Spain. Around 1976 I began to have kidney stones. I would go to the emergency room for an overnight stay. For the next few years I had one or two a year. By 1984 they became less frequent. My last large one was in Japan 2006.
