We drove the mini up over the Alps for our semi-annual Piedmont trip.  We stayed first in Castello Rosso and then Castello di Guarene. We visited the frescos at Castello della Manta.  Finally we stocked up on wine in Barbaresco, La Morra and Roero.

Alaska Fly Fishing 2017

In September went fly fishing at Rapids Creek Lodge near King Salmon Alaska with Dave Mining and Bob Lynch.  Each day we would fly out to a new stream to fish.  In the week caught rainbow trout (22 inches), many sockeye salmon (up to 20 lbs) silver salmon, char (24 inches) and greylings.
